At Epanomi, we offer a variety of dietary options, with a focus on vegetarian and vegan meals supplemented
with occasional meat dishes. Our meals are prepared in-house, and volunteers are encouraged to participate in the cooking process to learn about healthy eating. We accommodate specific dietary needs and health
concerns, sourcing fresh ingredients from local markets and businesses. Our accommodation package includes
shared rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, creating a warm and relaxed environment for volunteers to enjoy
their time in Greece.

The accommodation provided in Epanomi offers a unique and enriching experience, reflecting our commitment
to sustainability, health, and community engagement. In terms of dietary preferences, we primarily cater to a vegetarian and vegan diet, although we occasionally include meat options. created a tranquil yard with a chilling area for relaxation after a swim, as well as an outdoor dining area for
hosting dinner parties with fellow volunteers. For colder weather, we provide indoor dining facilities with a
stove to keep the space cozy and inviting.

For work or study needs, we offer well-equipped offices and all the necessary appliances found in a modern
household. Additionally, we provide a fully equipped workstation for volunteers interested in wood art, along
with guidance from experienced instructors. Furthermore, we boast a vast and continually expanding library,
offering a diverse selection of books to cater to various interests and preferences. Overall, our accommodation aims to provide a warm, relaxed, and fun environment for individuals to experience the beauty of Greece while fostering personal growth, community connections, and cultural exchange.

Local transport in Epanomi relies on buses and taxis for convenient mobility. Additionally, we provide bicycles
to our volunteers, offering them an eco-friendly way to explore the suburb and access the beach.

We offer comprehensive language support to volunteers, serving as translators when needed and fostering
language practice and learning opportunities throughout the community. Our language support encompasses
various methods to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of our volunteers.

● Language Classes: We provide structured language classes led by experienced teachers, allowing
volunteers to learn Greek or practice English in a formal educational setting. These classes offer a
structured approach to language learning and typically occur during designated class hours.
● Informal Language Practice: Beyond formal classes, we encourage volunteers to engage in informal

volunteers, or staff members, volunteers have ample opportunities to practice English and exchange

● Language Cafe Project: As part of our language support initiative, we organize the Language Cafe
Project, where volunteers form teams based on their interest in learning and practicing a particular

Frequency and Flexibility: The frequency and total number of language support hours during the project are
flexible and adaptable to the needs and preferences of our volunteers. We strive to accommodate varying
schedules and levels of language proficiency, ensuring that volunteers have access to language support when
they need it most. Whether through formal classes, informal practice sessions, or the Language Cafe Project,
our goal is to facilitate language learning and proficiency in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Volunteers are expected to work on assigned tasks from 10:00 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays
through Saturdays. Sundays and Mondays are designated as days off, providing volunteers with time to rest,
recharge, and explore the local area at their leisure. This schedule allows for a balanced work-life experience,
ensuring that volunteers have sufficient time to engage in their tasks while also enjoying downtime and
cultural immersion in Epanomi.
